A hand-wired split mechanical keyboard built from scratch using mechanical switches, diodes, and an Arduino Nano running QMK-inspired firmware. The project was heavily based on the open-source Redox Keyboard, with cases that were 3D printed and keycaps salvaged from an older board.
The build demanded dozens of precise solder joints and routing a custom switch matrix, but the process ended up being surprisingly relaxing. Tuning the firmware and experimenting with different layouts has been a fun rabbit hole.
